ISNACC & NCSI Training Program
The Acute Neuro Care (ANC) course is a workshop focused on clinical management of neurological emergencies during the golden hour. It is governed by the Indian Society of Neuroanaesthesiology and Critical Care (ISNACC) and the Neurocritical Care Society of India (NCSI). This one-and-a-half-day program enables Intensivists, Critical Care Physicians, Anaesthesiologists, Neurosurgeons, Neuroanesthesiologists, Neurologists, and Emergency Physicians to act prudently during the initial critical hours of patients presenting with neurological emergencies.
Advanced knowledge is imparted to the workshop delegates based on clinical scenarios, priority-based treatment algorithms and protocol and an interactive hands-on skill station. This workshop will provide a rich flair of evidence-based scientific materials and a protocolised algorithm-based approach to care for acute neurologic conditions during the golden hour. A standard protocol-based approach will be taught with hands-on training during the course.
The highlights of this training course include didactic lectures and audio-visual presentations followed by hands-on skill stations. At the end of the session, every individual, irrespective of their speciality, will be able to manage the patients uniformly to achieve the best neurologic outcomes. The course content adheres to the established standard of practice.
The ANC course covers:
Initial evaluation and management of various neurological emergencies that we come across in our clinical practice.
Each candidate will be evaluated at the beginning and end of the course. On successful completion of the course, participants will receive completion certificates, jointly issued by the ISNACC and NCSI.
